The Coach House
Self-catering accommodation
with all the mod cons
Back in the day, the horse-drawn carriage was kept in a separate building alongside the village inn. Still known as
The Coach House this original building dating back to the early 1900's has been delightfully restored. Every detail
in the property has been carefully considered and well thought out touches throughout such as a little pantry in the kitchen
and a wet room with eye catching blue down lighters on shelves add to the enjoyment and very high standard of the
property. Whilst looking traditional, with solid wood flooring, exposed beams and a wooden staircase, it has the benefit
of having contemporary technology.
Enjoy the surround sound inter-room radio / CD music system while even in the shower! The hub of the coach house is
the lounge / kitchen / diner with its cosy log burner, leather sofas, under floor heating and large wall hung flat screen TV.
Views from the property are over the adjacent field where you may spot horses enjoying a run. Leaving the comfort of
The Coach House, the area is blessed with many interesting countryside walks. On returning you are recommended to
pop into The Oak Pub next door and sample the home cooked food and the local beer, surely a welcome refreshment
after an afternoons ramble?!!
Many attractions are within easy reach including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Corfe Castle, Abbotsbury
Swannery and the Dorset Coast.
